ive noticed lately my tank seems cloudy it is cycled light is only on 8 hours a day it is a 58 gallon with 2 ac110 they dont work to full potemntial due to less then 110 volts at the outlet i dont have algae issues but it seems cloudy i perform weekly water changes i recently had a ammonia spike but water qaulity is back to normal what could be causing this what can i do

How many fish do you have in this tank? What are the water parameters? If the ammonia is up you might need to do another water change and you should probably get that outlet issue fixed.

New filters, fish, gravel etc? Sounds like a mini cycle.

there is 9 lemon tetras 6 black neon tetras and gymnogeophagus 1" growouts i live in an apartment the voltage is what it is, i had a ammonia spike but a water change and daily doses of stability got it down you think its a mini cycle

 Not knocking ya but why can't you get enough 'juice' to run a simple HOB?? Is that the only outlet available? "T"

yes ive ran extension cords to other outlets its not the outlet its a fluctuating voltage isssue from the power company and there transformer box nothing i can do about it

also with both of them on there there is plenty of turnover with both they prolly eqaul one or a lil more ac 110
