Please help - need to kill a fish

So I was given an golden cobra snakehead awhile ago with a crooked spine. Since then i've nursed it back to health and was doing good for awhile. So far its been all good until recentl where he's started to develop fin and tail rot and he is not looking good at all. I've made the decision to end his life early. I had him in position just about to strike him behind the gill and i stopped at the last minute. Is there a better way i can kill him. I have no clove oil and its hard to get in Hong kong. any suggestions

Just use a butcher knife and chop the head off. Works every time.

clove oil will put him to sleep and if you use a little more it will kill him in his sleep...

just said he didn't have clove oil. It is harsh for us keepers, but bag it, then slam it HARD against a wall 2 or 3 times.

ya the easiest thing to do is wack it in the head with a mallet or throw it in a bag and smash it on the ground or even drop a toaster in the tank...

the last one will work but it is ment as a joke

I don't really want to use a knife or what not. And i heard freezing isn't as painless as we think. I think i just might have to grow a pair and smack em. Poor fishy.
