please help.regarding texas fry

i am new to this hobby,
recently my texas spawn.i separate the fry and female to another tank.it is almost 20 days fry with female protecting them.
so my question-after how many more days i have to separate female from fry tank??
please reply.

I've never bred them, but I thought both parents are supposed to raise the fry. Are you sure you're supposed to even separate the parents at all (including male)?
I could be wrong...

I would have left them all together until the fry were about 1" or around there. As of now, do the same I wouldnt put the male back with them.
