PLEASE HELP! rtc stomach swollen!

Sunday I fed 3 smelt, it had the normal slight buldge. then Sunday night it doubled. Then by Monday morning it tripled. Now its huge. Not sure what's up. No decor to swallow.

Yikes. Maybe he is constipated. I would hold off on feeding except for trying to get him to eat some peas or ... I think you can add salt to the water.

I agree add 1 tablespoon for every 5 gallons of water you can get it from the grocery store just make sure it's non-iodized.

no missing fish, its the smallest. Salt..........why? I've heard constepated also from a few other people also. they are in a 230 with 30 gals in the sump. So for 260gals 62 tablespoons of salt?

salt helps with constipation, that's why.

Feed your fish flake or other dried food that has been soaked in glycerol, castor oil or medicinal paraffin oil to help remove the colon blockage that causes the constipation in your fish. Or, you can starve it for a couple days.
