Please Help! Something wrong with my senegal bichir

I just noticed about half an hour ago that one of his fins turned red while all the others are fine. Its a little less red now but I'm still worried. The fin isn't ripped and none of the other fish bother it. Is this normal?

PS i already have salt in the water and the temperature is about 80 degrees.

check your ammonia and nitrite, looks like something that koi get when quality of water is bad, their fins go red or somethign when there is ammonia or nitrite high conent?

Turns out my ammonia is high. Should I do a water change? If so, how much?

careful you don't raise your pH with the water change it will make the ammonia more toxic

turns out mu ph is pretty low too. About 6. Maybe my tank is going through a cycle

All the other fish are acting fine though, even the black ghost
