I am only new in ray keeping. Please help to identify my ray.

Sorry for the pic, this was just sent to me by the seller and told me that it is a Retic ray.

Right now this ray is patternless, just like plain dark brown color.

Not a retic and also seems to have some health concerns if you haven't already purchased the ray I would ask for some better pictures. The tail looks to be damaged and the ray appears to be very skinny

Sorry I can't help more with the ID

Got it already. The tail was healed and eats a lot. Problem is you can't barely see the patterns. It's all plain.

Glad to hear it is doing well, it was hard to tell how bad it might be from the picture.

What color tank is he in sometimes a lighter background and substrate can help to lighten a ray up

Hybrid ray, pattern will stay the same. Better pic?

I will try to update it's pic within this week, bit busy in my work.

Black background and no substrate. I hope it's patterns will still show.

10" in diameter. I will post more pix. I traded my redhooks to this ray with another hobbyist.
