Please help to identify this Synodontis

I looked at tons of pictures but so many look similar if you don't know what to look for. He was labled as unkown cat and he was not being kept well. He's now doing much better and has grown about 1.5" but I would like to know what species he is. Thanks

looks like a synandontis multipunctatus not sure of the spelling though

Looks like a cukoo a bit. But its a Multipunctatus. Wont grow much more, they top out at 6-7".

Looks like a S acanthomias, you will soon know if it is as they are a large aggressive syno.

I agree, S.acanthomias! And it does grow large!
