I pick up a 150 gallon fish tank with an overflow on the left corner with a hole to the sump. I need help on what size sump and what type of hoses I need to connect it to the wet and dry. I need to know what size pump I need for a 150 gallon fish tank. Please give me some advice and I want to setup the fish tank. Where is the cheapest place to pick up the equipments.

Thanks in advance.

It would be impossible to know what size hose you would need without measuring the hole, but I would guess it would be 1.5" PVC fittings. 900-1,000 GPH would be a decent amount. Most stuff can be bought from the hardware store except for the pump. The best deals on pumps would probably be online.

Can you give us some more information? There isn't enough info here that someone can give you a solid response. We don't know what turnover rate you are looking for, what type of fish you have, what size holes the tank ahs in the overflow. There are too many variable to give you a experienced opinion.
