Please help, what kind of fish is this? It ate my fish ?

Woke up this morning and find one of my fish missing, I have a nano aquarium. I'ave look everywhere for my 2.5inch percula clown but didn't see it, I'm not sure if this fish ate it?

It live with a damsel 1incher fine for 2 months but somehow it ate my clown overnight.

Though they're not aggressive by nature, engineer gobies will eat small fish and inverts that they can fit in their mouth.

Thank you sir! Its very odd that it ate the biggest size fish of my small collection, also the tiny damsel been living with him with no problem

also strange is he so peaceful and well fed..

Do you think he can swallow a 2.5 clown whole? I can't find any carcass and I'm very annoy at what happen?

I don't know how big that things mouth is but it's certainly long enough to eat a 2.5" clown.

I'd check around your tank as well could be crispy some where.
