Just bought a 50gpd unit and the yellow reject line is not yellow. There is a black input line, a white line and a blue line. Under normal instructions, the blue line is the good water.

Now my question is without the yellow line, would one assume that white=yellow since there is every other color present? The blue line sends water out in spurts as to where the white line sends out a steady stream and seems to have what I think is a flow accelerator on it.

The fact that there is a steady stream coming out of the white makes me want to think that is the waste line as well.

Do you have a TDS meter? You will want one for RODI sooner or later anyways to know when you need to replace membranes.

I am going to have to call the store on Monday, it came with very vague instructions and wrong ones at that. No I dont have a TDS meter and am actually unfamiliar with them. Ill have to look it up.

The TDS (total dissolved solids) lets you know when your filter starts letting stuff through.
