Please help with this compatibility issue

I posted this in another thread but seeing as it's fairly urgent I'll make a new thread for it


Damn my wolf has suddenly turned nasty. He's about 8 inches now and has become aggressive. He's now being hostile to all the tankmates, including his friend the bichir who he usually lets reside in his cave.

I need to move the 8 inch bichir and 6.5 inch hujeta out of the tank.

The only other tank I have is the one with the little albino snakehead.

Is it worth the risk of putting those 2 with the little SH? Do you think a bichir/hujeta of that size would kill the SH? The SH is approx. 4 inches but skinny.

The only other option I have is sell them.

It sounds like they are dead no matter where they go. I would put up a divider if I were you or if that is not possible, sell the fish you dont want.

right now though I would be concerned for the safety of the little SH. What do yu think the chances are of a 8 inch bichir or 6.5 inch hujeta killing a skinny little 4 inch SH? Is it worth the risk, seeing as the albino SH was a good find.

what species is the bichir? id say its too risky

the quickest and safest thing to do is to put a divider in then have a serious think about how you want to go about the problem,wether you want to get rid of 1 or more of the fish or maybe upgrade your tanks to overcome the prblem

you could stick them in a large rubbermaid conainer with a sponge filter and a heater for a temp fix I've done this many times

This is very sad to hear. I was planing on putting a wolf in with my bichirs.
