Please Help worried to death!

I have the sweetest Dinosaur Bichir. I got him in February of 2022 his anal area is swollen and red to the end of his tail. I've put him in a quarantine tank treated him with api general cure as directed on the box. But not help. I've ready some post on here but can't find an answer as to how to help him. Please anything I love this guy! Sincerely Nancy

Ok I'll do that now. I have him in a 10 gallon quarantine tank. I'll post pictures of that as well as his 30 gallon normal home.

As this thread has been quiet for a couple of weeks, I'd venture to guess the worst has occurred. Judging by the description provided, it sounds like inflammation/infection resulting from an impacted bowel.
