Yesterday I arrived home from work, to get greeted by my Flowerhorn. Settled in and getting ready for a water change. Then I noticed my FH doing some weird things. All of a sudden he was upside down. Was like that for a while. Doesnt look better. When he tries to swim, his tail end goes up like he is going to flip over. Sort of like he is off balanced. If any one knows what this condition is please help. Raised this fish since fry.

what can cause that. it looked like all of a suuden it happened. next thing you know looks like he is doing tricks trying to stay straight. does it go away?

I believe that salt can help with swim bladder problem.

If it's a sim bladder problem I have heard that salt or feeding a pea can help. Niether could hurt but I can't confirm validity to either remedy

I just put some Aquarium salt in. Hopefully he will get better. He has some good signs. He thought i was going to feed him. So he tried to swim over. The flipping seems minimal.
