PLEASE help!

I need to immediatly seperate my green terror and jack dempsy , I need to get the gt into a 5 gallon bucket because he is REALLY beat up, both are adult and unfortunatly I just did a 50 percent water change. Should I just put the gt in new water or suck 5 gallons out of the old tank and then put him in and replace the water?
or is threr any way to fashon a divider?

Dont put him in brand new water.. take it from your tank.. You can make a divider yourself.. just go to a Home Depot or something like that....

get a divider help boy.. go to home depot lowes or your mom and pop hardware store depending on which state you are in... go to the lighting section and ask the kind salesperson where the plastic light diffusers are... Theyre called eggcrates around 11 bux.

Get some, cut them out, and use it as a divider... !

I cant go out and get one every 2 minutes the jd comes and tries to kill him and I have to seperate them by hand

Put the GT in the bucket with water from your tank, then go get a divider.. Once the tank is divided you can put him back in on the other side....

Thats a good idea, never thought of putting him back in..
Well he is in a 5 gallon bucket now with a nanofilter, Ill attenpt to go find a big divider,
meanwhile, does anyone know if a good sized cut at the base of his tail will heal quickly?

As far as I know it should as long as he doesnt keep getting attacked! Try using Melafix.. I have a sailfin pleco who had a HUGE chunk of his fins get bitten off.. it grew back super quick once I removed the bad fish!!

They wont poison or contaminate the water?Also how do I keep it from falling over?

Ok because his whole bac half of his body is scraped up his mouth is torn up (just the skin) his fins are torn and hes cut up.. He used to be dominant too, waving his fins and all , Guess the jd got sick of it..
