My bala was out of the water for 20 minutes. After 10 minutes of me swimming and holding her by the current she started to swim. Now she is swimming very slowly through the middle and is red from her gills to nose. Looks just like blood. I dont know what to do at all..can someone tell me if they know what to do or have had this happen?? Looks much worse than in the picture.

20 min is a long time..keep the lights off if they arent already...and hope for the best...sorry to hear that...she jump I'm assuming?

Ya the third time recently. Once into my friends face as he walked by, once when I was sleeping on the couch next to it and today. I have to get a new lid for a section of the 100, no center brace is making it a pain to get anything locally, and she keeps finding a way thru the make shift top.

I know how long because I was at my computer next to the tank, showered, checked something on the computer and saw her lying there.

like angler said salt and melafix. Keep the stress level down as much as possible.

Until you find a top pick up some egg crate at a hardware store for the top of your tank. It is easy to cut to fit. I'm sorry about the fish, all you can do is up the temp a little, add some salt, and hope for the best.

Well sadly I dont think shes going to make it. This morning she is lying on her back and barely moving, I keep trying but I dont know what to do.
