i just bought up a canister C-220 filter for my tank everything is hooked up how it should be i had trouble getting it pumping water messed around with it a little bit then it started pumping enough to fill the In Tube up and the Exit Tube up then all of a suden it just stopped pumping i guess does anyone have any clue whats wrong why its not working? am i doing something wrong?

I have the bigger version of that and if you dont hit the prime button fast enough and pump it to slow it doesnt work i would make sure everything is set up right inside make sue no hoses are kinked and restart it and hit the prime a few times real fast if it has a prime on that model by bf didn't hit it fast enough and it did the same thing for us...sorry couldn't help more
yea im not sure i have a bigger model so im not positive about that model all i know is that we had to hot the prime very fast and a lot more times then it said in the instructions but it eventually kicked on but it took me a little bit of tinkering to get my other canister to start up correctly i would try talking to the company or taking it back to the store. sorry couldn't help more
