agreed and just before water change not after please. tank size and water change schedule also help.

I bet it's something other than water quality. The pictures of the tank and plants look great. Fish on fish aggression maybe?

HI,

Channa andrao sometimes react with cloudy eyes when nitrate level is too high and PH is high, too.
I dont think its an ijury cause both eyes are affected.
Could be an eyworm, too. But this could be clearly seen in thee eyeball.

Go for slight waterchanges with soft acidic, nitrate free water !

And do feed not as much as you feed currently, the shown female really looks a bit too fat

Ok thank you I will do that sorry I couldnt get the watter peramiters up Im in the process of moving and miss placed it

There can be many causes. If it helps any time ive seem cloudy eyes on one of my channa it was from physical damage, often when digging or trying to wedge into a crack. Also at this time of year the temps in my tanks start to drop and many of my channa start digging more and prepping caves. The drop in temps triggers them to start digging in preparation for what would be the natural dry season.

Thanks again for the help they are already looking better hes a cupple pics I tjought wete neat uploadfromtaptalk1412914713291.jpguploadfromtaptalk1412914739534.jpg

Glad to hear the eyes have cleared up. Mine had that once and it went away with water changes and time.

Have you had any pairs form?
