Please help

Today I cleaned tank and noticed my pleco had this this on its side.. I got him in a net and took a few pics to me it looks like his insides are coming out? Is this possible I have two 7 inch oscars in the tank and he is about 4 inches.. Do I need to get him outta there to protect the oscars? Any thoughts????

that does not look good. hard to say wither a viral growth, cancer or open laceration. how does the fish behave?

Sorry to agree but not a good thing. If it grows or changes quickly it would be wise to separate it from the other fish. Personally I haven't had much luck saving fish with large issues.

Perhaps a side pic might help to see how it is attached?

Thanks I'll try I had to leave for the night.. He's acts likes any other pleco I've ever had
