my flowerhorn is refusing to eat for a few days now. I don’t know what’s wrong. I only noticed towards the tail, it’s darker than usual. If u guys can gimme any pointers, very much appreciated.

PH 7.6
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 40 ppm (sink water test is same nitrate level)

Tank size:
65 gallon bottomless

Filter:
Fluval Fx5 canister

How’s it poop looking? What have u been feeding?

For now try a little Epsom salt 1 tbsp per 5g and prazipro for now. See how it responds to this.

It was brown color from previous feeding but since he stopped I don’t even see poop. I do see this green thingy that looks like poop.

He was on sumo red and XO XiTuan pellets for awhile. Then I switched to Hikari bio +.

Can add some metroplex soaked in Epsom salt and metronidazole to the tank and hope it gets better.

Cz clear would help it but you have to force feed the medication using a syringe.
