My big, beautiful cichlid, Ganta, was doing what I thought was a mating ritual (not eating, flashing around the tank then hiding in the cave)but apparently was being eaten by the female. I separated them but he is holding himself in a weird arch, is bloated and now has a yellow and raw looking anal area. I am veryworried! I’ve been dozing the tank with a natural bacterial remedy since I saw he has injuries but the bloat is now more present. I tried an epsom dip yesterday but I’m afraid this hurt his open wounds more. Please help!!!! I don’t want to lose my baby for making wrong choices!
