I posted the other day that the male was hurting her so I separated em. Upon seperation she began to repeatedly ram the divider face first to try and be back with the male. Her mouth and front of her face appeared bruised the next morning. It seemed to darken day 3 and got a little bigger so I took the divider out again cause she seemed to be hurting herself more than he was. This morning the black is now up around her eyes, base of dorsal fin, top tip of tail, bottom side of tail And base of side fins. Is it ick? Fungus? Everything I'm finding keeps saying white this or white that nothing is saying black.
Only these 2 flowerhorn in the tank, 210g low light, 84 degrees, 2 fx6, 2 sponge filters, and an algae scrubber for filtration. 7.6ph, 0/0/15 parameters *Forgot to add, I treat it with aquarium salt 1tablespoon for 10g typically.* He looks fine but she is a hot mess right now.
