2 weeks ago i bought a foot long African Marbled L.F.,as i stated earlier this fish hasnt eaten in 2 weeks(since i have owned him).I do frequent water changes(at least 25 per cent)every 2-3 days.I do have some rocks in my tank(wich i am willing to get rid of).My Lf was a little bit beaten up when i got him,but he does swim around a bit and come up for air.I tried to hand feed him earlier today by placing a piece of raw shrimp in his mouth when he came up for air,but he just spit it out.He has developed some"Pimples" on his body, what could these be??Is this why he doesnt eat??They are not fuzzy, just white bumps. Please any help is really appreciated!!Thanks!!:( :WHOA:

how is your lung doing? i wish i could be of some help to you... perhaps he does not have a big enough tank or maybe he does not like the food you are giving him... maybe the spots could me ich or just from stress..... read as much as you can about them on this forum and try to find out what you can.. that is what i've done to learn about my monster baby.... i know mine has gotten whitish marks a few times that seem to be from growing... or maybe stress... i'm not really sure but they went away... if your guy isn't eating just keep offering him food.. and don't try to drop it in his mouth again he could choke... when my lung is refusing food i usually find him a nice big juicy and wiggle earth worm... he can never turn them down.

I have similar experience when first acquired my marble lungfish one year ago, the fella just did touch the food for about 7 days. Not too worry about, once it use to the tank environment, it should eat at first at night. I feed him sinking pellets, wafer and some shrimps.
Hope this helps. :)
