PLEASE ID AFRICAN LUNGFISH

I recently purchased my first african lungfish and was told it was a "Nigerian Spotted Lungfish" just want to verify.

Nigerian spotted lungfish is the same as west african lungfish (protopterus annectens annectens). You are lucky that the person u bought it stated the location it was from. Many seller just labeled west african lungfish or just african lungfish. You got a nice one. Many nigerian west african lungfish lacks the spots or only few spots mostly on tail area. Yours got it all over.

Yes The person I received it from in my opinion is the best distributor in my state.I appreciate the information i'm very ignorant of the species other than basic research online,but i'm a big fan and enjoy mine very much.
