looks like a texas cichlilld. it will get like 12 inches. it looks like a female to me. but its always hard to tell. its rounder with short fins but that doesnt always mean its a female

does it turn bluish later on? because I have a texas and its like a blue color

Im going with female too, Although mine has a huge hump for its size so I thought male and it just laid eggs the other day soooooo

Hard to tell about whether or not it's a hybrid but looks like a typical cyano to be. Sex; couldn't say.
