Just picked this guy up for $65 its about 7" or so. This is my first Brycon and I really do not know much about them.

Can any one ID it for me?????? or is it just an sp????

Have mine with my rays and some big silver dollars been a great tank mate
But gets huge fast

Where did you get him from, thinking a shoal of 4-5 would look awesome. Ofcoarse tank size would have to be ureal once they got bigger.

I got it from fish palace Denver

Over two years now
And has been great but a real eating machine
It eat 4 other red tails when in quarantine and has not bothered any ray but I have it in my 500 with 5 marble motoros and some pleco
