Anyone know what type of syno this is? its a pale grey and does have a weird whisker. Just wanted more info. I'll try to get a pic tonight.

Agree with the ID, although there may be more than one species that looks like that.
Synos, including larger-growing ones, in general and most usually would never prey on any tankmate but it remains a risk with the smallest of the tankmates I'd read up on this guy to be sure. You may or may not be able to leave it in the tank.
