No not tarpons, I've also had a few of those that came out of the feeder tank but I forgot what they're called. I think they're native to the US.

well these are wild caught here in the philippines, they are called bulan bulan here and can grow 2 feet. that's all i know.

spared 4 from my aros appetite and will grow them. they seem to be finicky when it comes to food. i also noticed that they love strong current,

yes, he's in the phillipines, and those are indo tarpons, they congregate near river mouths like our shiners, more like a shad. but those are megalops cyprinoides., can be found in rivers and ocean around those regions. its not a shiner, he's in the phillipines
