I recently bought a 30 gallon and this catfish came with it but i have never seen one that looks like it and i was hoping you guys could help me out.

I'd have to agree, although a larger pic would be better for 100% identification..

Diadema sp. , maybe urostrata.

Looks like hoplosternum littorale. Better in a small group, more active. See if you can find another.

When I had two, they would beg for food and chase my fingers, the whole bit. When I had only one, she sat in a corner and only moved to find food.
