Please ID my pleco

It's about 7" and growing fast. It looks like some sort of sailfin, but its pattern throws me off. Does anybody know the common name and the L-number?

Looks like an L-001 Gold spot i have one around the same size.

Great fish, just don't mix too many Sailfin type plecs into one tank, I tried and it was like Royal Rumble lol.

I have one just like that, except its a baby. Like 3-4" and I didn;t know what type it WAS. I know now

yup, nice one. They can be a bit territorial together, but enough hiding places, they are usually alright together.

thanks for the heads up, he's in a 55 now, then he's moving into a 180, he'll only be with 1 or 2 other plecos (non-sailfin).
