These are often shipped as Hystrix from Peru, another name they come under is Yepezi, on both counts this is incorrect. What they are however is a fairly common ray with nice markings, seen many over the years, pretty sure they are a smaller ray than Motoro,Orbignyi or Humerosa, the latter two often causing confusion as to positive id.
Sorry can't be more specific, I don't believe they have ever been formerly identified.
These are both very good clean examples.
Good luck with them.

They are not smaller then motoro :) I have 2 of them, and one of them has outgrown my motoro female pretty big, and the motoro is mature. (offcourse there is individual differences). But she is massive. Was also sold to me as histrix(imported as)

so can i call it histrix?? :) hehehehe...

they are still 6-8cm.. and they cant (or wont) eat frozen ghost shrimp.. even the smallest one.. so i gave them FBW, but cant manage to see them eating it..

FYI, they still hv a very little umbilical cord.. very small like 2mm long..

will they start to eat after the cord is gone?

Other then black worms try earth worms also.
