Just purchased him/her this afternoon for my 11 yro son who is in to FH. Just out of curiosity we would like to know ID, sex, grade, & potential of this little one.

Nice male kamfa...really difficult to id flowerhorns these days unless you have the parents on hand. Grading is over rated....I stick to what you like and who cares what others think. Lots of potential for this guy. Nice pearls all over, especially the worm pearls around it’s face. Nice colors but will not get a massive head...perhaps a decent size hard kok that will be proportional to its body.
Groom him out more. His kok will probably come out late or might also end up as hard kok. But the pearls are just beautiful plus with the overhead pearls. Try putting a smaller size parrot in there a few times a day for 15-20 minutes.
Thanks for the info! We are feeding him a mix of Hikari Bio gold , Hikari Blood Red Parrot, NLS Float, and a little 9.9 pellets that were given to us as a sample, doing 25 - 30 % water change a couple times a week and we put a mirror in the tank for 30 min a day. We are hopping for the best!
