Need help in id for these baby cats.

They are around 1.5 inches, look the same but for the colors. One is light gold and the other is dark brown and were collected from a Miami, Fl lake.

Thanks in advance for the help.

looks like bullhead species of some kind

You should definatly grow both of those out. You might have something rare.

Thanks.

I will be growing them out.

It looks like they eat dead small fish cut up into tiny pieces.

What would you feed these cats besides dead fish?

Shrimp, earthworms, live fish, blood worms, try and work on pellets.....pretty much anything

Those things are adorable! I'd imagind they'd be garbage cans like other cats and eat anything.

Sounds weird, but some cheap food for them (and we all know it will get expensive) is cut mullet or any other fish. We catch them with mullet all the time. I don't know if this would be the best food for them but its cheap and you can freeze it for special treats for them.

worms will work too and if you have a space for them, you can breed worms pretty easily.
