Please ID these guys

Hi there
my frnds tank broke and he had these two beauties in the tank and was looking at giving it to a shopkeeper as he would not be able to house them
i picked them up but do not know what they are

they are small like 1 inch or smthing and have kept them in the tank with my GTs who dont seem bothered bout the new additions
