Please ID this fish please!!

I recently got a free fish. The guy told me it was a "red texan" cichlid. It was obvious this guy didn't know what he was talking about. I'm sure that this is a crappy diet fed flowerhorn. Please tell me what it is and if I feed it a good varied diet do you think it'll get better?His lines went away and his red is very faint.

Classic kamfa.
Its not a high quality one
But it still has a nice shape which kamfas are known for
