Please ID : TRIMAC

Hello guys i am picking up this fish, hoping it is a Trimac, it is 8inches and is a Male, it has spawned with a female red devil, can you guys please help me ID if this is a Trimac before i pick it up. Thanks

sorry man, Im saying flowerhorn. The hump is way larger than any large trimacs Ive seen, the spangling on its side isnt a trait of a trimac and the various colors all over its sides arent typical of a trimac. Looks like a trimac/black belt mix honestly...with some carpintis/cyano somewhere in its genetics as well.

Definitely a Trimac Hybrid. A FH with strong Trimac features.

Its kinda "bright" and looks to be to "flowerhorn" looking in my opinion.

yeah has too much spangling colors on its sides to be pure trimac, pure trimacs are actually really hard to find, your best bet would be to order from a reputable breeder because most "trimacs" that are sold a pet stores are really low-grade flowerhorns, its still nice looking fish though if your into hybrids

yea thats what i was thinking also, because i know trimacs aint got that much color, and no im not really into hybrids, so im thinking if i should pass.

Unless you plan to breed Trimacs for resale, i say get him,..he looks great!
