Turqs are not derived from cobalts or blue diamonds. They are several strains of their own. I assumed, by judging the amount of blue on the fins, that it was a blue turq and cobalt cross which are two different strains. Blue Turquoise and Cobalt cross aren't just "Blue Turquoise".

Sorry to burst your bubble but a bt and cobalt cross can produce "just blue turqs" just like the same cross can produce "just red turqs" or "just cobalts" or "just blue diamonds". Discus are lumped together and sold by pattern and color not pedigree. This fish is a blue turq for the op.
