I bought this stingray as a teacup ray. I know that it is a size name but when I asked the store what it was they said they didn't know. For $44 I couldn't pass it up especially for this being my first ray. I apologize in advance for the pictures but this is the best I can do with my camera. My battery died before I could get a full shot of the ray. As for an idea of the tail In the second picture you can see the stinger, well the rest of the tail is about a little less than an inch basically what you see is the whole tail. The tail is really no longer than the stingray. From what I can tell it looks like a reticulata but the tail is to short and I dont know if it was damaged at all or if it is just something different.
