please post pics of your ray tanks with pool filter sand

i love the look of this sand and recently added it to one of my tanks just curious of others and how they look and if you like it

I just received my first stingray this morning. Here he is on top of the pool filter sand.

I know there was 2 different kinds.... Quartz and Silica??? I know one was a no-no and one was questionable...... Obviously if you got some then one isn't questionable.......

I have the 3m Quartz sand, and on the bag it says there is silica in it.... Im kinda woundering where this no silica started from...

yeah mnesaid there was some silica in it but % not sure of the rays love it thanks for the pics mine sand looks like the last 2 pics love it
it really makes the black rays stand out nice

this sand is suposably silica i think #20 i had a thread on it when i was concerned and the bag says quarts? works good cheap and rays are fine. this has alittle black sand mixed with it.

looks good Im feeling the black mixed in. I have black sand now and was thinking of switching to the natural color, but maybe now ill leave just a little in and mix it. do you have any other pics from the side not over the top pics?
