Very cool ray but not being able to keep it with other rays unless live feedings are involed will almost rule everyone out. Very interested on pictures of these also. I would love to have a tank for two of these but would be very limited on tankmates suited for them. How is yours doingÉ I#m still pissed I lost mine to a chlorine problem. It was very cool to see it eat.

Only big one i know of is at shed aquarium in chicago and its like 3ft accross

This is only pic I can find of the big one at shedd , it's very poor quality pics but man that ray is the coolest ray . And I bet at that size it eats prepared foods.
And skynoch mines doing great. I had him on ro water for almost the year I've had him now. Recently switched to straight city water but now using ro again. I think I'll just give him what he wants until hes ready for frozen foods if that day ever happens ill be a very lucky guy because these rays are the coolest when real big and fat like the shedd one

These rays would go great with flower and tigers . Sawxray used his tiger to train his ceja to eat. I may try the same app
Never thought of that but makes sense. They are quite unique. Been meaning to make a trip to Shedd for years. Maybe this summer. If so, will definitely post pics.
BTW, how bout some pics of yours? What are the tank mates?
are they down to one at the shedd now? they had a female that had pups but not sure what happened with them or if she miss carried.

They had a prego female but she lost the pups and then passed herself.
