I just found out that one of our fellow Crenicichlaholics was tragically killed on Monday 31st of March in NY. Greenaveli was a great man, with such an intense, dedicated passion to the hobby. We got to know him through his love for Crenicichla, but he quickly became one of our close friends. I know that I personally was close to him and always enjoyed talking to him. I still have not stopped crying yet since I read about this, as it was a very painful blow to me.

We are like family in here, we stick together. Greenaveli was a very important member of that family, and now he is forever gone. I am glad that we were blessed with being able to get to know him better. He will be DEARLY missed here in the Crenicichla forum, as well as the rest of MFK. Please take some time to pay your respects to him and his family here as well as in THIS thread.

Farewell Brother, you held a special place in our hearts that will never be filled again. May God bless you and you rest in peace. I am proud to say that you were my friend. I'm going to miss you....

Will definitely miss his enthusiasm. May his family find peace in this time of sorrow.

This has nothing to do with his preference of fish, but for his passion for the hobby and life.

although I never met him, I wish I could have.

You are always to young to make an exit. But damn...that's way to young.

My prayers for your family.

Hey PP, how about putting a small symbol of our respects on the t-shirt? Like athletes do. Maybe it isn't appropriate, but it is a thought.
