Please tell me about this Flowerhorn

My friend just picked up this Flowerhorn, but neither of us know a lot about FH. What can you fellow keepers tell me (us) about it.

All input is appreciated.

He's about 10", seems to be acclimating well, although he does spend quite a bit of time sticking his hump out of the water... maybe he thinks he's a dolphin... LOL.

Looks like a JK fader that never faded all of they way, looks really cool though IMO.

Sorry JK=Jin Kang, these are flowerhorns that fade and turn orange/red color, yours just never fully faded, heres a pick of my JK female.

Wow, that's gorgeous. Would you say this fella' is a male based on trailer length and KOK size? What do you think of the odd shaped mouth, the first think I thought was parrot fish when I saw this guy, but I know so little, but hey, that's what MFK is for...

just give him/her some time and the color of your fish will be red and yellow. Some fish fade into that color faster and smaller then others. The color will be very much like this fish.

I should have mentioned that he just got the fish today, and after spending some time in the bucket, I would imagine he is fairly stressed. So I'll be sure to post new picks if/when he colors up.

I dont think that fish is a JK... It has a flowerline.
