Please Verify my ID

After looking at the countless pictures posted on the sub-forum, I believe I have a West African Lungfish. I purchased it from a gentleman who was not taking very good care of it, to say the least. I was not quiet prepared to take on caring for it, but it is being cared for better than previously. Can you please help me positively ID it so I can ensure I am taking care of it properly?

No it's not a slender African Lungfish. 100% West African lungfish.

great looking lungfish . . .seems really big . . .and not 'cause of the big pic. how big is he ?

I apologize for the big pic. It is not loading that large on my machine. I will reduce the size before I post again. He really isn’t that big, yet, about 13". I have him as the sole occupant in a 75G right now, which I am sure someone will tell me is not big enough for him in the long run, I understand. I am not one to keep a fish in the minimum tank size, so what is appropriate for him when it is the full 3' length?
