I came home and my wife said my O is being strange.

Please watch this video and tell me if I need to be worried because I am. I am not sure if its lack of O2 or something else. I have video of him and of the otehr fish they don't seem like they are suffering for O2. I also tried to show you the overhead filter bu looking up through the wall since I can't pause the video to walk behind and see.

Please tell me if I need to do something.

Hey, very very nice tank.

I think something is nipping his fins..also it's kinda hard to tell at this angle does he have pop eye?

Also wait till he starts swiming....if he looks like he is swimming in a strange manner compared to previous swims I'd be worried.

Also I've never seen a oscar just not move for that long...then again I never kept an oscar lol.

Good Luck, and if you have melafix/pimafix it will help if he has pop eye and possibly help restore the fins faster.

testing now reply back in 5. Tested yesterday and it was all 0 but will test again now. yes his fins look a little frayed him and the texas have been tussling for weeks never really saw any damage before.

No pop eye for sure.

okay took two ammonia test middle shows .25 top shows rock solid 0 so I clearly have not fixed my cirulation problem like I thought. Waiting to take nitrite test I only have one tube, but the nitrite test is 4 years old could be bad.

He is really tore up someone beat him up pretty good.

Yep, he definitely got into it with someone. I see the type of behavior out of some of my africans quite frequently when they get beaten up. Do you have a separate tank you can put him in temporarily?

nitrite is 0 from middle and top.

I have another tank but its not cycled I can does it with prime tonight and buy stability tomorrow. I took a closer look and he is really jacked up, and his eye is doing something I have never seen before. its like sinking into his head like your pushing it in with your finger, and then coming back out. I almost didn't notice that at first.
