could anyone tell me if i could keep a male brisselnose in with other plecs and catfish?

Depends on what other catfish you have. Basicaly if nothing can eat the bn then you'll be fine

i dont know how big your tank is but in my heavily planted 180 i have a pair of male bns, one albino. they have their own area and leave each other alone.

Just an update, not too long ago those two male bn's found each other and decided a sparing match was a good idea. I did actually get one out in time, but that just goes to show that sometimes there's nothing you can do
