Pleco acting weird

I have an 18" leopard sailfin Pleco which I got for free with tank beautiful fish so I brought it home re-cycled it (I put Pleco in my other tank for the time being which I didn't really want to disturb his normal life) and then after a couple of weeks he keeps swimming agents the glass not bashing tho just swimming and now he has a white sore on his nose from
the rubbing. Water is fine, did water changes stress coat bowl buddies even melafix and primafix but nothing any help would be great

I would ditch the melafix and pimafix, I tend to find they leave an oily surface and reduce oxygen reaching the water etc.

You didn't specify the size of tank you're keeping this monster in...anything less than a 125 and I wouldn't be surprised by the nose rubbing; these guys need room to turn around etc.
