i have a 4" frontosa i want a tank mate for him. im kinda lookin for a pleco around the 7-8" full grown length. there seems to be tons of them but ones that eat similar foods etc.. any suggestions? thanks :nilly:

i noticed some of the water conditions arent the most compatible, but ive always known them to be quite hardy fish, guessing water hardness would be the biggest problem

yes you can i have a bristlenose and common in my front tank. but i would suggest a couple more fronts since the are schooling fish, if your tank is big enough.:D

yeah, if can get a few more frontosa

i have a 5'' frontosa thats tank mates are a leopard pleco, golden nugget, and a king tiger pleco, an 8'' midas, an 8'' green terror, 6'' jack dempsey and there is also a 12" flowerhorn in there to add some color. most people would advise against that mix but they hasve been ib there for a year without any problems. There in a 125 g by the way.
