I heard that pleco can scratch up acrylic aquarium, but I want to put my butterfly pleco in my acrylic aquarium which is 125 gallon and the pleco is only 8 inches. Is that pleco able to sratch up the arcylic in that aquarium?

I just had a post about this a couple weeks ago. There is the thought that a large pleco could scratch the aquarium. I wouldn't think that it is very likely, but I've been wrong before.

Most plecos should be fine. I would steer away from any wood eating plecos(Panaque species, among others), as their teeth are much more, aggressive, for lack of a better word. Also, because of the clarity of acrylic, minor scratches on the inside are almost unnoticable, as long as algae doesn't build up in them.

I had a large royal pleco ruin my 90 a couple of years ago. The panque plecos have some serious dental work on them.
