Changes are.. ur pleco will also have the internal parasite.. any fish in a tank with the parasite will have a chance of getting it.. the only difference is the fish immunity.... I would suggest do the same treatment of ur GT with ur pleco and DO NOT remove it to another tank.. otherwise.. u'll have a chance of spreading the disease to another tank.. and thats not what u want to happen..
Also, if u can.. post pic of ur GT pair.. i like to see what are the parasites.. are they having white poop?
well it would actually be them that would be contaminating the pleco as i moved them from my big tank into the small tank but now i actually think its not parasites, as they did have white poo but some people on the cichlid forum gave me some advice on what else it could be since i had already treated their food for a week before with jungle parasite clear but yeah and one person said that with parasites they would be infertile and they just laid eggs that are fertilized (also she made the male jump yesterday so its just her and the eggs now once he did his job fertilizing the eggs she wanted him GONE) but yeah thanks yeah i just wanted to make sure that the medication wasnt harmful to him but im not treating the tank right now anyways as the male was showing the most symptoms (and yeah it was just white stringy poo but no loss of apetite or anything and would sometimes be good consistency but still white so it was really weird but female only poo white every once in a while and someone said it could help to soak their food first which makes sense because when i was medicating their food it was being soaked first and thats when it seemed to get better)
