hello everyone
so i have a year old pleco who seems to be sick
he hasnt eatten in some days now and i came home today to him on the glass with white poop
ive seen white poop in fish but not plecos
wondering if you guys could tell me what it is and how to treat
here are some pics

About treating:
he is in a 46 bowfront growout
along with
1 baby oscar
1 baby JD
one pictus catfish
all other fish poop is normal color and eat normally

That could be a parasite infection. Is its eyes sunken in? Try some kind of medicated food. What else is in the tank and how large is the tank? any other fish sick?

The OP answered ALL of those questions.

How confident are you that its not eating? Mine poop a LOT more than the food I see them eat. They scrape algae off the glass and tank decorations when you aren't paying attention and get more food that way than you might expect.

Never saw white poop on a pleco before. I know that would make me nervous.

Are veggies a normal part of its diet? Is there drift wood in the tank for it to chew on? A piece of zucc, cucumber or cantaloupe melon is hard for a pleco to resist. It would be easy to put medicated food into one of those to get him ingesting it.

+1.. I would put some medicated foods into a slice of cucumber and let it munch on that.
