I can't remember where I saw this and it has been awhile since I
had plecos, but I have some juvenile albino bristlenose now.
Anyway, I take a small flat thin rock or you could use a piece of clay pot. In
a bowl you separate an egg white from yolk, you want the egg white. I use a
small brush to coat 1 side of the rock. I usually use an algae tablet crushed up
and mix a little flake food together. Now sprinkle this onto the egg white, not to
thick. Pop in the microwave for about 10 secs, let cool and lay in the tank. My
little guys are all over it!!! I just got done making some to pop in their tank now!!!
